Awal Hotel

The location is convenient, but the front desk staff was unfriendly. I happened to meet a kind elderly male cleaner who explained the room facilities to me. The hallway and front desk area are dark, which makes me feel uneasy 😥. The bathroom was dirty, and there was no toilet paper.

The hotel is well located, with easy access to public transportation and shopping. It's a busy part of town, a bit messy, near the souk. We were very well received! The hotel has old facilities; it would need a good renovation to modernize itself, but we had no problems.

Excellent location close to Manama bus terminal and many shops, restaurants, food stalls, and malls. Very convenient and comfortable. Friendly staff.

Among the most economical options to stay in downtown Manama which is usually quite expensive. Spacious and comfortable room, but with air conditioning not very functional and sheets stained upon my arrival. Difficulty finding parking even in the reserved area of the Hotel if you arrive during market opening hours

Good location in the market near harbor and municipal bus to airport.
No towels, no water, no kettle, no glasses, no fridge. Only one socket working. Feels like ten dollars per night, not thirty-five dollars.
